Your profile photo, and how it is framed

From your main Orrery screen select your own planet in the centre (on a phone, tap Me), then use Profile Pic on the banner to choose a photo. It is saved straight away. Choosing a photo opens a small editor, and Profile Pic reopens it later. Because your photo also appears as a small circle on the map, the editor lets you choose which part of it shows there: - drag the photo to move the part you want in the middle, - pinch or use the slider to zoom, - choose where the highlight (the little shine on the sphere) sits, or turn it off. There is no Save button — your changes are applied as you make them, and Done closes the editor. A small preview shows your planet as it will actually look, so what you see is what everyone sees. The wide banner at the top of your profile deliberately shows the whole photo, uncropped. The framing only changes the round version. Your framing travels with you: when a friend has you in their orbit, they see the photo framed the way you chose. One thing worth knowing: on your own profile, a new photo also appears as a short post in your own feed. Reframing a photo you already have posts nothing.
