Messages, and message requests

Messages live under Comms: select your own planet in the centre (on a phone, tap Comms). Opening another person's planet and choosing Comms gives you messages, voice and video with just them. Message requests. A first message from someone who is not a friend and who you do not follow goes into a separate Message requests section rather than your main list. You can read it and reply; replying accepts it. Requests are not counted in your unread badge, so a stranger cannot make your inbox look busy. Other things in Comms: - Replying to one message — use the reply action on a message and it is quoted above yours. - Groups — you can start a group, or turn an existing one-to-one conversation into a group; the history is kept. - Archiving — archiving a conversation hides it from your list without deleting it. - Attachments — you can attach a photo or video, and you can paste a copied image straight into the box. If you cannot message someone, the reason is usually their Who can reach me setting, or a block in one direction or the other.
